Our Why
She Talks Movement is a community of empowered women. The agenda of She Talks Movement is to redefine the narrative of womanhood by stepping into our truth, owning our power, exercising our freedom, and telling our stories authentically through a multitude of digital mediums and creative outlets.
Changing the narrative of womanhood through community, action, and transformation.
Our Mission
We create spaces for women to choose who they want to be, how they want to tell their stories, and how they would like to exercise their freedom through various means and resources. We are disruptors, storytellers, creatives and entrepreneurs. We are committed to transforming the lives of women professionally and personally all over the world and being a change agent within our communities
Our Founder
Hi, I’m Maia and I’m the Founder of She Talks Movement. I am 22 years old and I currently reside in Atlanta, Georgia. She Talks Movement was formed months following my endometriosis diagnosis in February 2019, a condition where the tissue that is similar to the lining of the uterus is found elsewhere in the body. I was sick and tired of feeling like I was alone and helpless and I wanted to tell a different story. That is when She Talks Movement was formed. I founded the movement so that women from all different walks of life can tell their stories fearlessly and authentically. I created an inclusive environment for women who want to change the narrative of womanhood and define it for themselves.
